Four stars because I feel they could have breakfast earlier. I wanted to hit the road at 6, but breakfast wasn’t served until 630. Otherwise a nice little place to stay for the price. Rooms are clean and service is kind and receptive

**Review: "Avid Hotel North Platte – Clean, Comfortable, and Service Animal Friendly"** I had an amazing stay at the Avid Hotel in North Platte! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how beautiful and clean the lobby was—very well-organized and inviting. Check-in was a breeze, especially with my service animal. I had requested a room near the elevator for easy access with my dog, and they made sure to accommodate that perfectly. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. The bed was soft, comfortable, and felt luxurious to the touch. The blackout blinds were a great touch, making it super easy to control the light. There was also an impressive amount of storage space, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was fantastic—huge, with great water pressure and piping hot water, making for a perfect shower experience. One thoughtful detail was the magnet they provided for the door, specifically for service animals, in case of an emergency like a fire. It’s small things like that which really make a difference! The only downside was the fridge, which was tiny and didn’t include a freezer compartment. However, everything else more than made up for that small inconvenience. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling with a service animal. It’s clean, comfortable, and has excellent amenities.

Nice new hotel and very convenient location. Hotel staff were excellent. The young lady that got us checked in (didn’t get a name) helped point us to the places to go if we wanted to see the train displays. (Whole reason we were here) It is a much more modern feeling hotel however the rooms are small. If it’s just two people and you need a place to crash it works just fine. Advertise a hot breakfast which I found to be mediocre. Would rather run down the street to Mickey D. Our toilet had an internal leak that would cause it to “run” every 10-20 minutes to fill back up as well as a crack in the shower between the wall and pan. Notified the staff a check out and they made a note to fix it. Would use this hotel again if I was in the area. Price for what it is felt fair.

Best breakfast I’ve had at an IHG so far! The selection was fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. My room on the fourth floor was spotless and offered a great view. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even better. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very nice for a less expensive place. Beds are comfortable, TV is large and they have the smoothest elevator you can get.

We had a really comfortable stay here. The beds were excellent, which made a big difference after a long day of travel. The location is great, and the lobby is beautiful and welcoming. A special thank-you to Kelli at the front desk, who was incredibly kind and accommodating - especially with our sweet but nervous pup. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and without hesitation. We were very happy to rest here and would absolutely stay again!

An incredibly beautiful lobby with a snack stand and coffee table. Was meant by nothing but smiles at the front desk. Always love a quick friendly check in. The room was super cleaned and well equipped with all modern appliances. Would recommend this to any traveler.

It's cheap... so you get what you pay for !! Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is basic but ok. Parking is free. Breakfast is basic with juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, a few toppings and eggs and potatoes. I would not be back because you cannot completely switch off the A/C. Even when it's off, it still makes noise... you have the feeling you spend the night in a plane.
